Join BCA as we hike in the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
BCA will meet interested hikers at 9 a.m. CDT on Saturday, Oct. 12 at Juniper Campground in the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
We'll drive and carpool to the Oxbow Overlook.
We'll hike out the Sperati Point Trail and head down to the Little Mo River bottom at the So. Achenbach Trail junction.
The hike will be about 6 miles round trip. The hike is relatively flat at the start then will be a beautiful drop down to the river bottom via switchbacks. A steeper hike out can be expected. The first fifteen that RSVP will get lunch provided thanks to Bravera Bank.
Fall in the Badlands can be beautiful, but mornings can be quite cool or cold. Dress accordingly, wear quality hiking footwear, and bring water and snacks.
