BCA Presents Tweed Roosevelt, Conservation and the Badlands

Russell Reid Auditorium at the North Dakota Heritage Center and State Museum.
Tweed Roosevelt will speak at 3 pm, followed by a Q & A moderated by former North Dakota Tourism Director Jim Fuglie, with a reception to follow.

The BCA Annual Meeting and Potluck will be held Oct. 8 in Bismarck, featuring ND Associate Poet Laureate Rick Watson. A native of Mott, Rick lives in Minot. He is a retired professor of communications and a well-known singer of songs and teller of tales of western North Dakota, and friend to Badlands Conservation Alliance. His poetry has appeared on the pages of Wild Badlands and he was recently a featured guest on "The Great American Folk Show."

2019 BCA Annual Meeting
The 20th-Anniversary Annual Meeting and Potluck will be held on October 13, 2019, at the Bismarck Aquatic Center (the location of the 2018 meeting), starting at 12:30 p.m. (Central).
BCA is seeking donated items for the Silent Auction as well as volunteers to coordinate the auction. Please do mark your calendar for this time of fellowship and fun.

2017 BCA Annual Meeting
Jay Clemens owns a good deal of private ranchland within the viewshed of the Elkhorn Ranch Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. He is committed to long term protection of his prime Badlands acreage, the Elkhorn Ranch, and in turn, the larger Little Missouri Scenic River valley. A member of the Badlands Conservation Alliance, Clemens will share the story that led him to vigilant defense of this uniquely rich and historic landscape.

BCA’s Annual Meeting is coming right up! Members should watch their USPS mailbox for details and election ballots. This is always a warm and wonderful gathering of like-minded lovers of the Badlands! Highlights include our traditional potluck, elections for the BCA Board of Directors, and of course we will be doing door prizes!
