Twenty people from all around ND, including some new members, joined Badlands Conservation Alliance in Bismarck on Oct. 8th, for potluck, conversation, and to conduct the organization business, led by President Connie Triplett, followed by the songs and stories of the badlands by Rick Watson. The group passed the motion accepting the election of Bill Knudson as a member of the board and discussed future plans and strategies and opportunities. Bill Knudson of Mandan was confirmed by motion to serve a term bringing the board to capacity. The newly reorganized board will meet on Nov. 27th.

Thirty-one (31) members attended including the following Board members: Christine Hogan (president), Rich Brauhn, Lillian Crook, Craig Kilber, Lynn Morgenson and Laura Anhalt, and Jan Swenson (executive director). After a potluck dinner and introductions, the business meeting was convened by President Hogan at 2:15 PM CST.
